The Mader family has been involved in agriculture for five generations. Our farm operations span across the south east part of Washington State and are headquartered in Pullman, WA. In 2001 we acted on an opportunity to add a processing facility to our operation. Our Processing Plant, Wallace Grain and Pea is located in Palouse, WA - just a short drive from Pullman. Wallace Grain and Pea first opened its doors in the 1930's. The plant was designed for quality not quantity and has processed grains for the international market and domestic consumption. We take a raw food product and process it into food grade edible product. Our food is appealing to our consumers because of the nutritional and aesthetic values. In 2006 we became "Food Alliance" certified. Steve & Kevin Mader take farming to another level by planting, harvesting and then processing your food through our processing plant. We can tell you exactly which field your product was grown in and we add no preservatives to our foods. From, " OUR FIELD TO YOUR FORK", quality is what we are about.

After making an effort to find seed wheat, and failing, I turned to the internet and got a bag of wheat.this spring, I planted some in the garden, and it is currently knee high, with some lovely heads on it. I'm looking forward to fall when I can harvest and try the second generation from this bag out.
